Montrice Exavier Boyd

Montrice (Monte’) Exavier, was born December 4, 1982, in Los Angeles, CA. He attended Walt Whitman High School. He graduated with the class of ‘98. Montrice was a member of Glorious C.O.G.I.C. He loved and feared the Lord and believed in the power of prayer. Monte’ enjoyed holiday gatherings with the family. He spent his leisure eating at good restaurants, going to the movies and amusements parks, and listening to good music. His main passion was cooking for others.

Monte’ took over the family business at Boyd Maintenance, after his father retired. He then managed the meat department at Ralph’s Grocery Market for five years, until his health declined.

He leaves to honor his legacy his father, Arthur Boyd, Jr.; his loving mother, Barbara; his life partner, Audrina Phillips; two sisters, Sheila Boyd and La Tonya Douglas (Rick); one brother; Rodney Boyd; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear Friends.
