Latosha Fowlkes

Ms. Latosha Fowlkes was born on December 13, 1978, to the loving union of Bennie Fowlkes and Carolyn Fowlkes. On June 19, 2026, at 11:20 a.m., she peacefully entered eternal rest at Good Shepherd Hospital, surrounded by the love of those who held her dear.

Latosha was a proud graduate of Longview High School and accepted Christ at an early age, joining Galilee Baptist Church, where she began her walk of faith.

She was employed by the Hampton Inn of Longview, where her warm personality and caring nature touched the lives of many. Latosha lived her life with a heart full of love and compassion. She found great joy in cooking for those she loved, listening to music, and could happily spend hours watching The First 48, one of her favorite television shows. Whether sharing a meal, a laugh, or simply her time, she had a special way of making others feel welcomed and loved.

Latosha was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Shamekia Austin; her son, Travian Clayborn; her grandmothers, Rosie Hill and Annie Green; her great-grandmother, Dollie Fowlkes; and her aunts, Rose Rollins, Georgia Hickman, and Tina Gassaway.

She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory her loving daughter, Chastiney Fletcher; her son, Daquayivious Fowlkes; her devoted parents, Carolyn Fowlkes and Bennie Fowlkes; her stepmother, Vera Fowlkes; her sisters, Sharon Fowlkes (Henry) and Jassiren Colbert; her lifelong partner, Copotenia Fletcher; her aunt, Sandra Wiley (Clyde); her nephew, Jacobie Bowman; her precious grandchild, Haleigh Fowlkes; her lifelong friend, KoKo Devine; and a host of extended family members and dear friends who will forever treasure the love, kindness, and beautiful memories she leaves behind.

Though our hearts are saddened by her passing, we are comforted by the legacy of love she leaves behind. Latosha's gentle spirit, caring heart, and unwavering love for her family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. Her memory will forever be a cherished blessing.
