Lakeithelon Cartez Cooks

My name is LaKeithelon C. Cooks, I was born to Kenneth Cooks and LaTressa Harris. My walk of life began, in Longview, Texas, on July 5, 1998; I grew up there with my little sister; LaMiracle Harris.

I attended New Zion Baptist Church in my younger years; as I became older in age, I began attending Greater Saint John Baptist Church in Kilgore, Texas. 

I worked as busser and server at BJ Brew House for about 5 years. I received my educational background from Bramelette Elementary, later becoming a graduate of Longview High School; Class of 2016. As a student, at Longview High School, I participated in ROTC. In my free time I enjoy being with my family, listening to music, entertaining social media (Snapchat), riding my bike, playing pool, bowling, and going to work.

In the early afternoon of Thursday, May 11, 2023, God called me home to be with Him. Upon my arrival to Heaven, I was greeted by my mother, LaTressa Harris; grandma, Maryanne Bradford; and grandfather, Austin Cooks, Sr.

For 24 years, God allowed me to create memories with my loved ones. Those who will cherish those memories and carry me in their heart, include my sister, LaMiracle Harris; grandma, Helen Cooks; grandpa, Clarence Bradford; aunts, Traci (Sherwon), LaTrenia, and Lathanza Cooks; uncles, Antonio and Austin (Pearlie); and a host other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Even though my journey was cut short, I lived a successful 24 years.
