Mr. Charles Luke was born on May 14, 1954, to the late Dock Luke and Emma Green. He lived a life grounded in faith, family, and love, and was a faithful and devoted member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
On October 12, 1973, Charles was united in holy matrimony to the love of his life, Margie Emory. Together, they built a life centered on love, commitment, and family, creating memories that will be treasured for generations to come.
Charles was preceded in death by his beloved son, Tyrone Luke; his parents, Dock Luke and Emma Green; his mother-in-law, Betty Jo Emory; his brothers, R. L. Terry, Aaron Luke, Willie Luke, and James Luke; and his sisters, Mary Jackson, Anna, and Mary Joyce.
Left to cherish his precious memory is his devoted wife, Margie Luke; his loving daughter, Nicole Covington; his son, Charles Demarcus; and his beloved grandchildren: Breanna, Kyron, Dontae, Tavarius, Tiffany, Markevion, Da'Breyon, Daniyha, DeKeria, Ker'Shawn, Nichlos, and Jacob, each of whom brought great joy to his life.
He is also survived by his brother, Teallie Luke of Detroit, Michigan, along with a host of treasured great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were enriched by his love, kindness, and steadfast presence.
Charles will be remembered as a man of quiet strength, unwavering faith, and deep devotion to his family. Though his earthly journey has come to an end, the love he shared, the lessons he taught, and the legacy he leaves behind will forever live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
